MY LOVE FOR ELEPHANTS
Ever since I was a child, I have had a strong love for elephants.
Reading Dumbo was not only life-altering for me when I was young, it also put me firmly on the path to love and empathy for all animals. Needless to say, I am unable to watch the movie Dumbo even to this day.
I can go on for days preaching the attributes of elephants so I figured I would break this down into an easy list.

Reasons I LOVE elephants:
They live in a Matriarchal family unit with strong, protective mothers and women in charge.
They are highly intelligent.
They have amazing memories.
They are extremely social and caring.
They are cute as heck.
It is my belief that the exploitation of elephants for human entertainment should have been abolished decades (if not centuries) ago. It astounds me that elephants are still being used in circuses, attractions, and slaughtered for their ivory.
In my own way, I want to make a difference. Even if it is helping one elephant at a time.
Therefore, I have adopted Olorien through the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya. My goal is to donate a percentage of the profits from Lauren Elizabeth to help not only Olorien but other elephants and animals in need.
